Dear Gardeners:
During a all common drive home my eyes caught hold of some of a most lovely sight of flowers. I was in store for some the free beauty of flowers growing wild right along side of the roads. These various plants grew large in plenty with color arrays of purple, yellow white and oranges. I could only think how the earth has her own patches of flower gardens available for anyone to see. Often, passer byers usually take very little notice of such a splendor. Me however, loving the appreciation of such a glory just looked on with awe.
I haven’t ever grown a wildflower garden, and only seen a few growing in the secret gardens of southerners. This sparked my imagination to seeing the boxes of wildflowers on store shelves and how these arrays of the wild make such a most wonder garden of color. I wanted to stop and pluck a bouquet of my own, but discovered to my disappointment “I had no scissors!” What a lovely free display for a vase.
But I’ll be back.
Leading my longing eyes to nature’s curiosity I sought some help in naming some of these wonderful plants for nature lovers who may want to have their own way growing wild with wildflowers. Having done this I’m passing it on. If you’ll look around in a open field you might see a poppy field, wild daises, irises, cornflowers, sunflowers the ever so gorgeous cone flowers along with the common mallows…there of hundreds of varieties in literary terms .. taking your breath away. Beware of those allergies…such fields like these can cause you to be on an allergy alert. I’ll take the chance to sniffle at that.
Maintaining and keeping a bed of the wild is just like growing any other type of floral garden. You’ll require planting them of course and if you have the acres you can start your own field of these lovely wild plants to grow on their own. Look for them and if you think it tickles your fancy dig in and get them planted. Wildflowers are usually perennials so look forward to them showing up year after year. There’s a wild flower for almost every season of the year and you can decide which season that’s right for you. You’ll know its season when you see them blooming everywhere!
VEGGIE LOVERS::
Now to those with vegetable gardens….you should be seeing your vegetables taking off by now. Soon your house will have a harvest of your crop and the taste of these splendid good and wholesome home grown veggies will be a savvy on your lunch and dinner plates. That’s not so wild after all! I like eating whole tomatoes which most experts call a fruit, but it’s normally referred as a vegetable I just know they are so delicious….
Wow! …I was caught up in the wild! I hope not to bore you with so long a letter. I have been sure to watch out for that. But that's because I feel like you’re right here with me and I’m doing all the talking…Lol! I’m on my way to go cut another “ wild bouquet…”
.
“Toodles!”
SO TELL ME…
HOW DOES YOUR GARDENS GROW?
I’D SURELY LOVE TO KNOW.
Mine grows with lots of Love,
[P.S. I love you too]
