QUIET POETRY
A song of midnight
came with
morning break
grasses crunched
in song of feet;
breaking wood of
gates rattled....
the sleeping awake
only to sleep again.
On a hill top
scenic the night sky
and stars twinkled
with a sound in the quietness of heavens.
