Job Description

National Health Foundation (NHF) is looking to add an amazing and versatile Medical Director for our growing organization. The Director will oversee the medical care provided at all our Recuperative Care facilities in LA County, focusing in delivering the highest quality of care, the development of licensed team members, and oversight of the all the day-to-day clinical activities for NHF's Recuperative Care program. You will be challenged with driving our mission to both humanize and localize care for those experiencing homelessness, and ultimately having a direct impact on their lives.

How will you contribute as a Director?

Utilize all of your work and leadership skills to develop, manage, and lead our Nursing staff at all of our Recuperative Care sites, ensuring that we are compliant with National Recuperative Care Standards, in addition to any state and federal laws and regulations.
Provide oversight to our medical care team at all Recuperative Care locations, ensuring consistency of care, and the highest quality of medical care is provided in accordance with care plans. You will also develop quality assurance plans supporting our mission and goals.
As the Director, you will be a medical resource for staff at all sites and provide recommendations for improved care directly to leadership.
As a new Director, you will have the autonomy to develop and implement policies and procedures to improve our medical care team. You will have the opportunity to establish and cultivate an environment necessary for continuous improvement.
Will oversee the administration of all required medical documentation and records required for any and all current and future contracts and grants.
Qualifications & Requirements
What will you bring to National Health Foundation?

Bachelor's degree required.
Must have a Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner license that is active in California and in good standing.
A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive Management experience. While experience as a current Director of Nursing is preferred, applicants who have demonstrated strong clinical leadership in their roles will also be considered.
A highly organized and detail oriented work ethic. You would also have the ability to handle confidential information, and to interface effectively with all levels of management.
Be able to to have excellent verbal and written communication skills. You should also be able to multi-task, be able to analyze any situation and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment. Be able to communicate with all levels of staff, guests, and visitors is a must!
Having a reliable source of transportation and be able to travel to multiple Recuperative Care sites.
