Your role will involve assisting with inventory management, scheduling shipments, and analyzing logistics data to identify areas for improvement. You will collaborate with vendors, prepare necessary documentation, and contribute to process enhancement initiatives. This internship offers hands-on experience in logistics, providing valuable insights into supply chain management and operational efficiency. </span></p><p><span><strong>The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: </strong></span></p></div><div style="margin:0px;padding:0px;"><ul><li><span>Assist with Planning and Scheduling: Support the logistics team in planning and scheduling inventory and production. </span></li></ul></div><div style="margin:0px;padding:0px;"><ul><li><span>Data Analysis: Analyze logistics data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. </span></li></ul></div><div style="margin:0px;padding:0px;"><ul><li><span>Inventory Management: Help manage inventory levels and ensure accurate tracking of stock. </span></li></ul></div><div style="margin:0px;padding:0px;"><ul><li><span>Vendor Coordination: Work with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods. </span></li></ul></div><div style="margin:0px;padding:0px;"><ul><li><span>Process Improvement: Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance logistics efficiency. </span></li></ul></div><div style="margin:0px;padding:0px;"><ul><li><span>Reporting: Generate and manage reports related to logistics performance and key performance indicators (KPIs). </span></li></ul></div><div style="margin:0px;padding:0px;"><p><span> </span></p></div><div style="margin:0px;padding:0px;"><p><span><strong>To select this job as one of interest to you, at a minimum, you must have the following: </strong></span></p></div><div style="margin:0px;padding:0px;"><ul><li><span>Currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate college student attending an accredited program working towards a BS or MS degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Management, or a related field. </span></li></ul></div><div style="margin:0px;padding:0px;"><ul><li><span>Work schedule will be flexible to match your course schedules but prefer at least 20 hours a week. </span></li></ul></div><div style="margin:0px;padding:0px;"><ul><li><span>Previous internship or coursework in logistics, supply chain, or related areas is preferred. </span></li></ul></div></div><div style="font-style:normal;font-weight:400;margin:0px;padding:0px;text-decoration-color:initial;text-decoration-style:initial;text-decoration-thickness:initial;"><div style="margin:0px;padding:0px;"><ul><li><span> Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), strong analytical skills, and attention to detail. </span></li></ul></div><div style="margin:0px;padding:0px;"><ul><li><span>Excellent verbal and written communication skills. </span></li></ul></div><div style="margin:0px;padding:0px;"><ul><li><span>Ability to work effectively in a team environment. </span></li></ul></div><div style="margin:0px;padding:0px;"><p><span> </span></p></div><div style="margin:0px;padding:0px;"><p><span><strong>MAJOR PHYSICAL DEMANDS </strong> </span></p></div><div style="margin:0px;padding:0px;"><p><span>Occasional lifting of objects up to 40 pounds. </span></p></div><div style="margin:0px;padding:0px;"><p><span>Subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing and pulling </span></p></div><div style="margin:0px;padding:0px;"><p><span> </span></p></div><div style="margin:0px;padding:0px;"><p><span>Ready to make an impact and become an employee-owner?
