The estimated annual base salary range for this position is $113,600 - $150,520 Individual pay within this salary range is determined by several compensable factors, including performance, knowledge, job-related skills and experience, and relevant education or training. This role is also eligible for S&C’s annual incentive plan (AIP), subject to eligibility criteria.Join Our Team as a Manager - Field Service Center! Are you passionate about Field Services?  S&C Electric Company is seeking a dynamic individual to join our Field Services Engineering function. As a Manager - Field Service Center, you’ll be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and supporting our diverse team.As a Manager - Field Service Center, you’ll be crucial in ensuring smooth operations and supporting our diverse team.  This role will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the service center, including assisting with the scheduling of the Field Service Representatives and Engineers for commissioning, testing, maintenance, and repairs of S&C Electric products and offerings. The Manager-Field Service Center will also be responsible for the development of the team, overall financials, inventory, and service vehicles.  Key Responsibilities:<ul style="list-style-type:disc;padding-left:48px;"><li> Manage and coordinate the daily operations of the Field Service Center (Inventory, shipping, receiving, scheduling, etc.) </li><li>Manage the adherence to safety, quality, maintenance, and testing standards. </li><li>Assist with the schedule for the regional Field Service team. </li><li>Develop cross-functional training programs. </li><li>Identify individual training and skills development criteria to meet departmental needs. </li><li>Manage and issue periodic financials reports for the regional center. </li><li>Track and report Key Performance Indicators. </li><li>Travel as required to customer facilities / equipment sites for evaluation, problem solving, safety observations, and negotiations. </li><li>Provide high quality service to internal and external customers. </li><li>Coach and counsel direct reports; participate in establishing appropriate development plans. </li><li>Assist with proposals/quotes for field services & parts requests. </li><li>Identify and hire subcontractors as needed. </li><li>Develop and maintain good internal and external customer relations. </li><li>Write and conduct team member reviews. </li><li>Initiate decisions regarding hires, promotions, corrective actions, and terminations. </li><li>Participate in continuous improvements and other company efforts to improve productivity and or efficiencies. </li><li>Identify where work should be performed and whether it must be performed at the employer’s worksite. </li><li>Understand and comply with all applicable Company policies and rules.</li></ul> What you’ll Need To Succeed:Job Requirements (To select this job at a minimum you must have the following):<ul style="list-style-type:disc;padding-left:24px;"><li>BS/BA degree or 5+ years of equivalent – relevant electrical medium voltage distribution experience and knowledge to perform this role.  </li><li>Driver's license in good standing.</li><li>Leadership or supervision experience within an electrical utility field service environment or similar electrical medium voltage distribution experience. </li><li>Experience working with medium voltages greater than 4160V. </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to conduct presentations. </li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills. </li><li>Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to influence team members as a role model in problem solving, communication, and team member development. </li><li>Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills. </li><li>Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and technical aptitude skills. Physical Requirements:</li><li>Sitting: You are required to remain in a stationary position and perform desk-based duties throughout the day.</li><li>Walking: Frequently required to walk moderate distances daily.</li><li>Manual Dexterity: Frequently required to use hand-eye coordination to control both hands and arms for a full range of motion to operate equipment/machinery/power tools/office productivity equipment.</li><li>Ascending/Descending: Occasionally ascending or descending ladders/stairs/scaffolding/ramps/poles.</li><li>Observation/Eyesight: Occasionally required to observe details at close range, including depth perception, peripheral vision, and the ability to differentiate between colors. </li><li>Communication: Continuously required to talk and hear, or otherwise, in person and by phone/conference calls. </li><li>Travel: Occasionally required to travel and work extended hours when necessary.</li></ul> Environmental and Hazardous Conditions:<ul style="list-style-type:disc;padding-left:24px;"><li>Continuously working indoors/outdoors in an air-conditioned/non-air-conditioned office/manufacturing/site-based environment.</li><li>Infrequently exposure to fumes/vapors/dust/gases/odors/mist/toxic chemicals/radiation/vibration/grease/oils/radiation/lasers/other etc.</li><li>Infrequently exposed to low/moderate/high noise levels, including machinery/vehicles/forklifts/office equipment/office traffic, etc.</li><li> Infrequently working around energized equipment with the risk of electrocution/scalding/burns/other etc.</li><li>Infrequently exposure to wet humid/outdoor weather/extreme cold (non-weather)/extreme heat (non-weather) conditions/other
