Assistant QA Inspector - Day Shift (Co-op)

S&amp;C Electric Company is seeking a dynamic individual for our&nbsp;QA team. The&nbsp;Assistant Quality Inspector (Co-op)&nbsp;is responsible for&nbsp;verifying and measuring incoming parts flagged for inspection to ensure company standards are met and specifications are matched against engineering drawings. The co-op student will also work with team members on calibrating shop equipment.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Approve finished products for shipment involving visual verification, mechanical inspection and electrical testing</li><li>Calibrate of mechanical and electrical instrument measuring equipment</li><li>Participate, when necessary, in troubleshooting and problem-solving</li><li>Read and interpret part and assembly drawings</li><li>Collaborate with assemblers and production personnel on quality inspections</li><li>Record and maintain inspection and calibration records</li><li>Collect and summarize quality reports monthly</li></ul><p><strong>What you’ll Need To Succeed:</strong></p><ul><li>Pursuing a degree/diploma in Mechanical/Electromechanical Engineering or Quality Assurance</li><li>Available and eligible to work a 4 Month Co-op Work Term for the Summer 2026 term</li><li>A team player</li><li>Excellent communication skills</li><li>Keen interest in design and manufacturing</li><li>Some manufacturing experience is an asset</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Effort:</strong></p><p>Normal or frequent minor physical effort required for the day-to-day activity in the workplace.
