O’ RUDY…
BEALE STREET’S SUN
HAS GONE DOWN.
Memphis, TN
05.29.2011
Over a week now Beale Street musician Rudy Williams has been missing from his family and from the Beale street post he’s played for many years. The musician was reportedly last seen on Saturday, May 21, 2011 as he left his home walking to a local store. Leaving there he hasn’t been seen or heard from since. There are few details as where Rudy has gone and he hasn’t contacted his family of his whereabouts. Police has walked the neighborhood where he was last seen with police canine in trying to pick up a trail but hasn't showed up with any clues of his disappearing. Anyone in Memphis having information are asked to call the police station as soon as possible, any tiny clue is never too small. Meanwhile, fans of Rudy are missing his horn playing and his post has to see the sun down once more until his return.
The sun and the trumpet songs…are gone without Rudy on Beale.

THE SUNSET SYMPHONY
HAD THE SUN GO DOWN
Memphis, TN
May 28, 2011
Finally, last night’s finale of the Memphis in May Sunset Symphony had the sun go down with a band! Memphis own BarKays let out the music as hundreds of Memphis showed up for the show. The band performed many of Memphis favorites and some other great songs to a captive sun audience. They danced, they glared and they enjoyed the music of this most famous event. The event was able to be carried out at Tom Lee Park which only just a week or two ago was covered with waters from the Mississippi River’s flooding. With all the water receding the concert took off without a glitch! In addition, river sunset and symphony fans got to see the bright shining fireworks making a bang array off and up over the sun down.
“Yo’… love is like the Holy Ghost!”…. “That’s one of those Ole School BarKays songs..”
“That was success of a sun down”
BANG! POP! GLEE!
“Woo..Wee! I wasn’t there about … although the sun did go down with a shout out!”
THEY LET THE SUN DOWN GO
ONLY TWO CAME...
TEN WAS A NO SHOW!!
Memphis, TN
May 26, 2011
The Memphis City Council meeting members did have it’s regular schedule meeting on Thursday, but only two members of the council showed up. The top agenda was pertaining to budget cuts, but instead ten members of the council cut out and didn’t show up. Though they all had 10 excuses for being absent...the meeting was preceded with the roll call… With two “here’s” the top priority will have to sit on top until they meet at the next regular scheduled time of sun down.
It’ may be sun down, but perhaps they’ll come…
“Budget…had a sun down” sho’ did!!
DAAAH!
HEY! WATCH WHERE YOU’RE WALKING
THE SUN’S DOWN ON THE STREET
Memphis, TN
05.25.2011
Memphis has been noted as one of the cities with the unsafe streets when it comes to walking. Memphis street walkers are in for dangerous turf as having some of the worst drivers striking pedestrians. While this very story was first released the same day a woman was struck by a truck driver following a fatality of another vehicle homicide within hours of the sun down. This appeared very oddly happening since it proves that that report may have some merit. Memphis came as number 29 as for injuries and fatalities … to have the sun down on hitting pedestrians.
“Steer clear of those drivers…they hit people!”
“Maybe it’s the sun in their eye!”
Off into the sun set I’ll go!...
Blowing bubbles…you know…
“Okay?”
…I’ll see you around up in somewhere up in here!”
Oooo’ You can go and watch the sun go down… Walk safely…..…
