You can't be serious. (( Lol)) There is no law that says that we have to like who you think we should like. I am a Free Woman and have the priveledge of knowing through my older relatives in the South of what MLK stood for in a nonviolent, nonforceful, peaceable manner. Perhaps Rev. Wright should try to learn from the late Brother Martin how to conduct himself in the pulpit.

What is wrong with people having differing opinions about your sacred cow, Rev. Wright ? I don't like him and that's final. You can like it or yes. Liberation preacher or not, I still think he needs to keep his liberation messages separate from the Sacred Pulpit of God. The Chicken have come home to Roost have no business being spoken from a Holy Pulpit in a church that's suppose to be GOD's unless that church isn't God's church. I think I have the answer... It's man's church with man's agendas being taught and spoken. I will agree to disagree with you on Rev Wright once again. The man needs to repent if he hasn't or face Hell's fire for his anti-American remarks about the America that God so loves.
What he should have been telling those brainwashed people in his congregation ... To pray for America and those in authority to lead this GREAT NATION!

Sis Irma, I agree with you on the church and the mother being 2 of the greatest reliable sources the black community has. When anything is going wrong in our families, communities, schools, who do we run to? I’ll only speak for myself, MY MAMA!
Mr. King and Mr. Wright should be respected but in my humble opinion for two separate reasons. Mr. King for what he started and accomplished for the poor and especially African Americans., but most know history.
Mr. Wright should be respected, 1- for saying what so many blacks in power are afraid to say. Most people don’t even know anything about him. They are just going on sound bites that the press have put out there and see him as an angry black racist. Far from it. They don’t know that he built senior citizen homes in his city, that he built a 16 million dollar sanctuary and that every young adult in that church has gone on to college and are now doctors, lawyers, physicians etc, all off the back of the church, they don’t know that it was him to bring the larges churches and organizations like NAACP and the muslim nation to the same table. I could go on and on, but my question still is to this day, what did the man say that was a lie. So be it, he shouldn’t have used the church platform for his (let’s call it teachings), but he still only spoke the truth and sometimes the lines between flesh and theology marr. Having met a preacher who could separate the two at all times. Besides that, no matter what the public says, he ministered to Barack Obama for many years which had to have helped contribute as well as shaped his thinking and with all that preaching as people call it rhetoric, he was thereby elected as the first black president.
Those who disagree with you should go study their history and come out of their deep ingrained ignorance.
