I attended a baby shower for the very first time today...it was for one of my old high school classmates...we played a game called Place The Baby On The Mommy which is the baby shower version of Pin The Tail on the Donkey. Everyone was blindfolded and was given a paper baby then approached the paper mom and they placed the paper baby as close to the paper mom's tummy as possible. The one who gets closest to placing the paper baby on the paper mom's tummy won (LOL)

The Mormon Bishop began the marriage cermoney with how this wedding was a first for him as he joked he had never married any couple with them both having the same last name. LOL!!! I did not fully undersand what the Bishop meant when he said the wedding rules had been set in 1985. the words spoken by the Bishop were meaningful and simple and uniifing.

I have know the bride for about 29 years, because her parents lived across the street from me, and met her husband shortly after they married for he first time about 26 years ago. He is Mormon and she changed from being Baptist to being a NDB about 7 years ago. Because , she is not Mormon they could not be married in the church so the cermoney was held in a room in the school section of the church. The reception was held in the auditorium and one of the church members was a professional photographer so there were lots of pictures. And, the weather was perfect today. I met a lot of very nice people today and had a good time. (smile)
