@H2's Modern Marvel's, "HARVESTING"? Many food products must be harvested by human hands.Many growers are already saying they can not find the needed work force now.It is now fruit and nuts harvest time in the west. Parmigranates are $2.00 a piece and percimmons right behind. HOw about where you live. (nup / smile)

Most of the nuts grown locally is out sourced to Germany. The nuts can be harvested by machines, but must be pruned and sorted by human hands. Unions, no...illegals, yes.(small)

In my area, we are so blessed as most of the mega producers here have road side stands and we have weekend markets down town and we grow our own furits and nuts and tend to trade what we don't have with friends, co-workers, church member, neghbors for what we don't have but need.

Small towns are like this. (smile)
