How Do We Praise God When There Is No Happy Ending? (440 hits)

Here's a message that many churches of today don't preach. God bless this woman of God for speaking reality to the hearts and minds of God's people. I believe that if more people heard messages like this instead of Happy Feel Good messages that when things happen in their lives, they would stay with God instead of leave Him disillusioned.

Daniel 3:16-18
King James Version (KJV)16Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter. 17If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of thine hand, O king. 18But if not, be it known unto thee, O king, that we will not serve thy gods, nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up.

Daniel 3:16-18
The Message (MSG) 16-18 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered King Nebuchadnezzar, "Your threat means nothing to us. If you throw us in the fire, the God we serve can rescue us from your roaring furnace and anything else you might cook up, O king. But even if he doesn't, it wouldn't make a bit of difference, O king. We still wouldn't serve your gods or worship the gold statue you set up."

Daniel 3:16-18
Good News Translation (GNT) 16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered, Your Majesty, we will not try to defend ourselves.17 If the God whom we serve is able to save us from the blazing furnace and from your power, then he will.[a]18 But even if he doesn't, Your Majesty may be sure that we will not worship your god, and we will not bow down to the gold statue that you have set up.

Hallelujah!

One should know too, Jen because of difficult situations we think we shouldn't praise. We again should always praise HIM!,
