10. Never whip or punish your child with an extension cord. I don't think it would be a good idea, even though back in the day many children received whippings with an extension cord. You can still not spare the rod, but be sure it's a rod that's never abusive.

I heard people say that they were whipped with these cords, but I didn't believe it. I guess its true afterall.

Oh yeah..it's true and I have witnessed some kids growing up whose parents used an extension cord. I sorely felt for them. My parents used switches, and they hurt too!
Who liked those whippings? EEEE...ow! Ha!
