One of the biggest complaints parents have today is that when they set a limit, their children are not happy about it. There is a groundswell of worry and concern based in the mistaken idea that our children should be happy with whatever we want them to do, or we need to back down, negotiate with them, convince them or become angry. It is OK for children to be unhappy when they don't get what they want!
