even with the Wind
WITH THE WIND ON MY FACE
I felt your presence today,
with the wind on my face.
It blew and I felt your presence.
It let me know that with you I can face,
the troubles of the day.
I felt your presence today,
with the wind passing over me.
It rushed by me and let me know
I can take my time and you'll still be there waiting for me.
I saw enemies today, walking by with faces so stiff.
I felt sad and then I was glad because I know you will
be there to protect me for their harm.
As the wind blew over the grass I felt you said;
"Lo, I'm with you every step of the way."
I felt so safe!
In my protective space
as I marched so proudly.
Just knowing you are the there with me.
I felt so alive as I marveled.
How wonderful you are!
As I felt your presence today..
With the wind on my face.
Whoooosh!
