British Soldier Killed in Woolwich Machete Attack Named as Drummer Lee Rigby (443 hits)

Woolwich attack, latest Confronted by the gruesome aftermath of the kiiling of a soldier in Woolwich, Ingrid Loyau-Kennett calmly approached the two men alleged to be responsible.

A British soldier has been killed in broad daylight by unidentified assailants who tried to behead him in a street near an army barracks in London. Soon after the attack, two men carrying weapons were shot and wounded by police.

This was terrible! in broad day and any kind of killing, it's so out of touch from anything that represents goodness, love and love others and life. I feel sadden by it.

Police have made three more arrests in the brutal killing of British soldier Lee Rigby, Metropolitan Police said. The men, in their 20s, were arrested Saturday evening and are being held on suspicion of conspiracy to commit murder, police said. Rigby was slain Wednesday in London's Woolwich neighborhood by two men who drove a car into him, then hacked him with knives and a cleaver. The two suspects were arrested after the attack.
