I'm afraid of fire works and am glad that NJ doesn't allow private use of fire works! When I went to visit my relatives in the South last July 4th, I realized they hadn't got the memo that these were dangerous. I settled on the Sparklers, instead.

... And off topic, After clicking on one of your blogs I saw that legendary Ms Tyson had won an award and although I'm not sure what it was for; however, I'm sure it was for the purple contraption she was wearing!

I've shy of any noises that sound like guns...Fire crackers are not my kind of toy. Here in Memphis it is illegal to use fireworks in the city areas, but Memphians still buy them from Mississippi and Arkansas which is no where but a few minutes away. They pop them so much the entire street has been seen covered in a smoky haze. Last year, there wasn't as many as a couple of years ago and when my son was around 10 it was all night long for three nights!

Oh yes, Ms. Tyson-- she won a Tony Award for a part in the play "Trip to Bountiful". Her dress was totally different than one I've ever seen. It was a special designer dress, but no one could wear it better. Thanks for visiting my web pages :>)
