Familiar Role for Muslim Brotherhood: Opposition (301 hits)

By ROBERT F. WORTH Crackdown in Egypt Kills Islamists as They Protest
CAIRO — Among the muddy, crowded tents where tens of thousands of Muslim Brotherhood members have been living for weeks in a vast sit-in protest, men in Islamic dress can still be seen carrying incongruous signs above the teeming crowd: “Liberals for Morsi,” “Christians for Morsi,” “Actors for Morsi.” It is the vestige of a plea for diverse allies in the Brotherhood’s quest to reinstate President Mohamed Morsi, who was ousted by the military on July 3.

@ Bro. Rob,

..." “What is strange is that we followed the democratic game very well,” said Yahya Abdelsamia, a middle-aged man with the bushy, unkempt beard favored by the ultraconservative Islamists known as Salafis. “We joined the elections, we did what they wanted us to. Then we’re faced with military force.” He added in English, with a pained smile, “Game over.” ...

I think that this man's sentiment is felt by many others and it (frustration) has manifested itself in protests of frustration. Well at least Ramadan has given some comfort temporarily, but the youngster aren't trying to follow the rules as the more senior members have tried to do when they had no choice but to go underground in times past. Well all we can do is pray and hope for the best for Egypt.

Iqwaan AlMuslimeen have always OPPOSED colonialism and the democracy that the Colonialists NEVER introduced while they were Stealing from Egypt and Africa

Lately they accepted --- for the People of Egypt -- "democracy"

and as we have Seen, doesn't seem to work for them

but

The Creator of Adaam(as) is Merciful to the Family of Adaam(as)

Allaah has opened; during SharRamaadhaan -----All the Gates of Paradise

Believers expect the Mercy of Allaah for their Devotion and Sacrifices

All will be for the Best! Everything is the will of Allaah
