Mariam Yehya Ibrahim, a Sudanese mother, doctor and Christian, has been sentenced to flogging and death unless she recants her Christian faith. She is 8 months pregnant and has a two-year-old son. Please, join the international community in asking Sudan not to execute her for being a Christian. Ibrahim is charged with adultery on the grounds that her marriage to a Christian man from South Sudan is considered void under Shari’a law, for which the penalty is flogging. She’s also charged with apostasy, or abandonment of religion, for which the penalty is death. Mariam is the daughter of a Christian woman and Muslim man. She was raised Christian after her father left. However, Sudanese law mandates that children born to Muslim fathers are considered Muslim. The fact that a woman could be sentenced to death for her religious choice, and to flogging for being married to a man of an allegedly different religion is abhorrent. In Most Muslim Nations ALL people are EDUCATED of the 1434+ Year Laws of AlQur'aan and the Sunnah of Mohamed(saw).

--- she can go live in the nation of her husband----WITH the blessings of mom/dad/grannie/grandpa etc.

Anything is possible, but why do you refute the validity of this petition? Is it not plausible that Christians are being persecuted in Islamic nations due to their faith?

the Laws of another Nation DO NOT have to be laws of the Nation You might travel from
if One is Christian goes to The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, that person cannot Drink Alcohol, or PUBLICALLY state that the Creator of Adaam(as) had a son..........

I see this lady wants to flee the country. Perhaps being with child will help her by delaying the sentencing long enough for International Community to rescue her, eh? I do not wish for her to die, but that the God of Mercy reign and prevail upon the hearts of her government to let her live in peace, Amen!

I am an American Conservative and agree with Many Americans that some American crimes are to be punished with death.
If Mrs Ishag's is one of those HIV/AIDS spreaders in Africa
--- I believe that is a crime that should be of capital punishment-----

3. I have KNOWN Lots of Sudanese in America in the past 50 years---I assure you the very religious, somewhat religious and not religious -- Muslim or Christian STAY in America if given a Visa.......
