Tyler Perry To Retire Madea? (845 hits)

Tyler Perry sat down with the Queen of Talk Radio, Mildred Gaddis after his keynote speech at Radio One Detroit’s Women’s Empowerment Expo at COBO Center Saturday July 12.
During the conversation Mildred Gaddis asked Tyler Perry if he plans to retire his character Madea. Find out the fate of Madea in the video below!

Wow. great news and Tyler gave the Sistah's their cake and I must admit he made a fortune on the series.

Perhaps he will transition into a high power women that loves her husband and kids and get's down with unity and progress.

I wonder if he has another character waiting around to bring out? It could be very why he's retiring her.
I must say, I'm kinda glad if he does. I never could get into Madea anyway. So to each their own.

The character uses a lot of profanity, but I live her! He can't retire her, because that's how he got his start plus she's a money maker for him.
