There may be limited positive depictions of them on TV, but with social media fueling user-generated content, we’re seeing more and more father/daughter moments that paint a different picture. A recently released video of a father and his daughter performing an original song went viral. The adorable clip features a young girl singing the lyrics “Kicking it with my dad,” while her father (who’s behind the camera) sings “Kicking it with my daughter.” The incredibly cute clip isn’t the only video to make its rounds on social media. Just last week, a similar video of a dad dancing with his daughter to Ariana Grande’s song “Problem,” flooded our Facebook timelines.
