DAY 22
AUGUST
Paris, FR

Iraqi Christians flown to Paris in order to escape carried horrific stories of the treatment of Islamic State the held them captive. Two testified that they were raped and overcome with fear at their hands. Their rescue led them to a one way flight to France for refuge. The two were among 40 who were on the flight to France and were said not to understand their treatment by the extremists. Many said they had never experienced terror in such a way. One of the passengers was quoted as saying: "It was very hard. We have friends that are Muslims that are very nice, but these people? I don't know why they do that. Because we are Christians that's all." There are many more Iraqi Christians who want to flee and come to France, but it's becoming more difficult to live there among the extremists. My Lawd,

I've being following the persecution of Christians through 'The Voice of The Martyr' publication and it's more widespread than we here in free Nations realize. Please pray for the persecuted Church abroad.
