Everyone wants to have a good exchange for what they are buying. And often searching for a good bargin takes time, consideration of the purchase and the right price tag. All leading to making a change in thinking before acting. Loving to do things can keep a costly buy at a low rate if you're trying to keep a little change in your pockets.
I purchased a movie DVD I thought was on sale. Firstly it was in the wrong area and I surely thought it was a bargin, but when I got ready to purchase it I paid for it only to go and have it exchanged for my change purchase back. I did want it, but I didn't want that price. I didn't feel it was really something I had to have , and I certainly didn't have a need of it either. So, I got my money back and put the change in my pocket. I don't know; I could of kept it; but in exchange as I thought about it --it was spur of the moment spending. Perhaps, I have another chance to buy it later on or; I'll save it for something else.
Was there a real lesson here? It was a just and short realization...God can grant needs, and wants and even when we don't have a need he grants wants to be fullfilled too; and; if we act in obedience we'll definately keep Him in our pockets for saving us.
"For a great and effective door has opened
to me and there are many adversaries.
1 Corinthians: 16: 9 NKJV
"God's rewards are so in much abundance.
They will fill your pockets with saving!"
