Are you working a night shift?
If you answered yes, then you may be curious to know that a recent study by the research team at the University of Swansea and the University of Touloussee conducted the study with 3000 people who work night shifts. The findings of the report is published in the journal of Occupational and Enviormental Medicine. The reports stated generally that night shifts caused disruption of sleep, dementia, and conditions of brest cancer and obesity with increased risks of heart attacks. The study indicated that the brain reacted slower for those who have worked night shifts over a 10 year period. Often these were familarized with slow response and a higher error rate. Researchers advice those who work night shifts not do it for prolonged years, but gave encouraging news that the brain would restore to normal after a 5 year period. The body availability to adjust to staying up all night takes it's toll on the brain.
