Although the National Day of Color was celebrated on October 22, 2015 the splendor of pink is vibrant and blooming in dry places. You'll find the pink exploding pretty in Chile's Atacama Desert. In March, downpours of rain waters gave the desert a lovely dress of flowers. The fields of desert received more rain in 12 hours than over a period of seven years.
