Topping with new security measures the visit to The National Civil Rights Museum is all about keeping its largest day of visitors secured. All new procedures are going in place first with bag checks and closed streets surrounding the museum. Then, extra security guards will be around as people are entering the museum to browse and look at exhibits and displays. This is in with the new protection that's following many large crowds across the country and even in the world. Security measures are necessary almost in every large event and the check in bags and process of scanning are becoming a regular but hopefully better way to have a better protection of those crowds who make their yearly visit to remember Martin's Life of Celebration.

Thousands make their plumage each year to visit the Civil Rights Museum, now it's just an added bonus they'll have to also go through security checkpoints.

Temperatures took a go down on the cold as lows dropped in the teens' This has many homeless making their lodging to go to opened sites of community centers. Three centers will accommodate the homeless or displaced in the areas of Bickford, Hickory Hill and Orange Mound Communities. Those who seek shelter from this chill will find they can go and find a place to stay warm from the cold. Others places may be offering the same, many shelters are opening up to keep dreamers who are homeless alive from frigid temperatures.

Memphis Police Department Chief, Toney Armstrong is departing and leaving. The 48 year old Chief has taken a new position as the Director of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Security Department. Armstrong announced his departure will be at the end of January 2016. Chief Toney, has previous announced a prior retirement earlier last year, but has decided to accept the position at St. Jude as a new revived occupation. Armstrong has served 5 years as the Chief of MPD looks forward to going away. Mayor Strickland is in the process of finding an interim Chief has said to starting a national search to fill the position. Well wishers are going to miss Toney Armstrong.

A POSTAL WORKER HAD GO TO DOCTOR

BY A MAN WHO COVERED HER WITH A VIAL OF ACID!

Through rain, snow, sleet, hail, and other weather conditions, trusty postal workers go deliver the mail. However, in Raleigh, Tennessee one postal worker had to seek medical attention after a strange man came up to her and doused her with burning acid.
The culprit got away, but news said the postal worker did receive some unpleasant burns. Investigations are on going as who the unidentified man was.

He went going out to hurt! Where was he going? Anyway, that was not a nice fellar!!! DU...UGH!!
