THE FALL
Day Ten:
It rained in my vicinity in the dawn of
day ten. I wrote love notes on the
leaves of October in the drops of rain.
In a notebook there were cries reading
.."I cry,
I weep, and I shed tears. It is very much
like rain. I cry often." Now, my tears
come decreasing by the Fall.
The leaves catch the cries of the
rain and I gather the laughter of
promises.
