The state of Washington was the first US state to approve human composting as an alternative to burying or cremating human remains. The law was approved and will go into effect on May 01, 2020. Many questioned if they would use the new service as agreeable. However Governor Jay Inslee signed the legislation into law. Since it is considered an alternative process, it has given other choices to dealing with funeral and burial arrangements. Many environmental groups consider the alternate as and eco friendly change since it is believed to be a better advantage to climate changes. Positive groups consider it could be a very natural organic reduction and well worth the way to remember remains of a love ones body. Washington will allow the composted into soil to be spread anywhere, instead of a burial or a cremation box.
